Hints about how to access information on the chicken meat industry


  1. This website is all about ensuring you are informed on industry practices and our commitment to a wide range of important issues. We add more information all the time. And your constructive feedback is always welcome.
  2. The SEARCH function  in the upper right is a useful function to search for specific information.  Type in the search field a word that characterises the query as well as possible. The search is for any page of this website that contains at least one of the words in the search string. It is therefore generally much more useful to enter a single word at the time.

    Experience will help finding the best balance between a broad search and a search that is too limited in scope to provide the information being sought. For example by typing "free" you will probably get the answers to any questions referring to free range. But by typing in "system" when interested in the various production systems or indeed "production", the search result is likely to be less useful (not selective enough).
  3. On the left hand side there are tabs which list all the different sections of the site.
  4. On the right hand side there are some useful short-cuts to assist you in exploring the vast amount of information that is available on this site.
