Chicken Meat Program of AgriFutures Australia
AgriFutures Australia is the trading name for the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation which is a Commonwealth Government sponsored organisation dedicated to the support of Australian rural industries, both existing and emerging. This research program is aimed at funding research of direct benefit to the chicken meat industry. The recommendations for investment in projects are provided by the Chicken Meat Research Advisory Panel, whose membership is largely made up of senior technical people from the industry. Total funding available is around $3.2m pa. The Program is funded by an industry levy, which is matched by the Australian Government.

Research is conducted at both state and federal agencies and university institutions. PoultryHub Australia supports research projects that are industry relevant, impact driven and designed to benefit both the poultry industry and Australians.
Poultry Hub Australia is in the unique position of being able to support research projects that are relevant to the entire industry including chicken meat, eggs, ducks and other poultry species.
